Entry Limit
Artwork must be no more than 12 months old at the time of entry and must be the work of the submitting artist.
2 Dimensional work cannot exceed 110cm in width, 110cm in height and 25kg in weight.
3 Dimensional work cannot exceed 110cm in width, 110cm in height and 25kg in weight.
Exhibition Requirements
Hanging entries must be fitted with D-rings affixed to either side of the frame, approximately 5cm from the top of the artwork or in proportion to the artwork and must be able to bear the weight of the artwork. Hanging entries without D-rings will not be accepted for safety reasons.
Plinths of various sizes are used for sculpture; please contact us if you wish to provide your own plinth or if you have unusual display requirements.
Artwork is displayed at the discretion of Ellenbrook Arts.
Artwork Delivery
All artwork must adhere to the Terms and Conditions for entry into the exhibition.
Artwork must be delivered to Ellenbrook Arts HQ, 34 Main Street, Ellenbrook onFriday 31 July, 10am-5pm. Please make arrangements for delivery if you are unable to deliver the items personally on the day and let the Ellenbrook Arts team know.
Entries will not be accepted if delivered late.
Artwork must be submitted with the following details securely attached to the back of the work with the following details:
Artist's name
Artist's contact details
Artwork title
Year of Completion
Price + GST or clearly marked NFS (not for sale)
Opening Event
All entrants and members of Ellenbrook Arts will receive an invitation to the opening event.
Collection of Artwork
All unsold artwork must be collected on Monday, 31 August, 10am-5pm. Please make arrangments for collection if you are not able to collect in person on the day and let the Ellenbrook Arts team know - we cannot release artworks to persons unknown.
Ellenbrook Arts cannot store your artwork and a storage fee may be applied if it is not collected on the specified date.
In the case of sold artwork, the Artist will be advised of any sale within a month after the exhibition finishes. The administration and delivery of sold work to buyers will be carried out by Ellenbrook Arts. Buyer's information is confidential and will not be shared with the Artist.
Copyright
The artwork must be the original artwork of the entrant and not contravene any copyright law.
The entrant grants Ellenbrook Arts the right to photograph and reproduce images of entered artwork for promotional, educational and archival purposes related to the exhibition.
All artworks must be original and created solely by the entering artist. Works must not infringe upon the copyright, moral rights or intellectual property of any other person. Collaborative works must be clearly labeled at the time of entry. The use of AI-generated content must be disclosed and may not be accepted, depending on curatorial discretion. Any work found to be non-original or in breach of this condition will not be accepted.
Exclusions
Failure to comply with any of the terms and conditions may result in exclusion from the exhibition. Ellenbrook Arts reserves the right to refuse entry or to remove any artwork from the exhibition at any time.
Personal Conduct & Indemnity
Entrants are expected to conduct themselves professionally at all time and must not engage in any behaviour that could bring Ellenbrook Arts into disrepute, including but not limited to criminal activity, harassment, discrimination, offensive behaviour, defamation or disparaging remarks about Ellenbrook Arts or its associates, including on social media platforms. Ellenbrook Arts may terminate participation immediately for such conduct, with no refund.
Entrants agree to indemnify Ellenbrook Arts, its staff, volunteers and agents against any claims, losses, damage or expenses arising from their actions, omissions or participation in the exhibition. Ellenbrook Arts accepts no responsibility for loss, damage, theft or injury to persons or property. Artists are responsible for their own artwork and public liability insurance.
