My Story My World – Logo Challenge
Terms and Conditions
1. Eligibility
The Logo Challenge is open to young people 5-19. Participants must provide their correct age and contact details when submitting their entry.
2. Entry
Each participant may submit one logo design.
The logo must be the participant’s own original work.
The design must be created specifically for the My Story My World Logo Challenge.
Entries may be submitted in the format specified on the entry form.
Entries must be submitted by 5pm, 25 October 2026.
3. Originality and Copyright
By submitting an entry, the participant confirms that:
the artwork is their own original creation;
they have not copied another person's artwork, logo or design;
the design does not knowingly infringe another person's copyright, trademark or other intellectual property rights.
Participants retain copyright in their original artwork unless otherwise agreed.
4. Use of Entries
By entering the challenge, participants give Ellenbrook Arts / Ellenbrook Cultural Foundation permission to reproduce, display and adapt their submitted logo for purposes connected with My Story My World.
This may include:
the My Story My World website;
social media;
promotional materials;
posters and printed materials;
exhibitions and displays;
project reports and presentations;
other communications promoting the project.
Where reasonably possible, the participant's name will be acknowledged when their artwork is publicly displayed.
5. Selection of the Logo
The winning logo will be selected by Ellenbrook Arts / the My Story My World project team based on how effectively the design represents the ideas of story, identity, creativity and connection.
The decision of the selection panel will be final.
6. Changes to the Selected Design
The selected logo may be adapted or refined by Ellenbrook Arts in consultation with the winning participant, where appropriate, to ensure it works across different formats and promotional materials.
7. Permission for Participants Under 16
For participants under 16 years of age, a parent or legal guardian must provide consent for participation and for the submitted artwork to be used as described in these Terms and Conditions.
Participants aged 16 and over may provide their own consent, provided they understand the terms of the challenge and how their artwork may be used.
8. Personal Information
Personal information collected through the Logo Challenge will be used to administer the challenge, contact participants and manage the project. Information will be handled in accordance with Ellenbrook Arts' privacy practices.
9. Disqualification
Ellenbrook Arts reserves the right to exclude an entry if it:
is submitted after the closing date;
is not the participant's original work;
infringes another person's rights;
contains inappropriate, offensive or unlawful content; or
does not meet the entry requirements.
10. Acceptance of Terms
By submitting an entry, the participant (and, where required, their parent or guardian) confirms that they have read and agree to these Terms and Conditions.
