✏️ Making Mini Zines
Turn your ideas into a tiny comic with a big story!
In this fun and creative workshop, participants will learn how to make their own mini comic zine from start to finish. They’ll explore drawing, lettering, visual storytelling and simple folding techniques to turn their artwork into a little handmade book.
Your story can be anything you like a wild fantasy adventure, something funny that happened to you, an imaginary world, or simply something you want everyone to know!
Participants will experiment with different ways to show action, emotion and personality through drawings, while discovering how words and images can work together to tell a story.
No previous drawing or comic-making experience is needed, just bring your imagination and a story to tell! 🌟

Who is this for?
Children aged 6-12
What to bring:
Comfortable clothes for messy crafts and a willingness to have fun.
Spaces are limited - bookings essential.
Participants will have the opportunity to exhibit the artwork they create during the My Story My World workshop series in the Youth Exhibition in October 2026.
If you are unable to attend the workshop, please let us know as soon as possible so the place can be offered to another participant.
