Reclaimed

July 12- August 3, 2025

Melissa De Winter, Moira, 2025, encaustic and ink on upcycled packing pallet, 110 × 110cm.

"Reclaimed" is a thought-provoking art exhibition that explores themes of reclaimed objects, interconnectedness. This innovative showcase challenges perceptions of waste by demonstrating the transformation of discarded materials into poignant works of art. Each piece tells a story of regeneration and re-imagination, inviting viewers to reflect on the latent potential in overlooked items. Encaustic wax serves as more than a medium; it becomes a metaphor for resilience and beauty found in impermanence. By framing decay as a catalyst for renewal and growth, "Reclaimed" sparks a dialogue on sustainability and our roles within the ecosystem, encouraging a deeper connection between art, environment, and society. Reclaimed aims to inspire creativity & promote sustainable practices, fostering a greater appreciation for the interconnectedness of art, and the natural world.
