Freestyle Collage Workshop

Cut, layer, arrange and create! In this open-ended collage workshop, participants will transform a variety of papers, images, textures and materials into unique artworks of their own design.

There are no rules and no right or wrong way to create. Participants can follow their imagination or draw inspiration from examples such as portraits, greeting cards, dreamscapes, abstract artworks, or reinterpretations of famous masterpieces. Whether creating something meaningful, playful or completely unexpected, collage offers endless opportunities for self-expression.

This hands-on workshop encourages creativity, experimentation and creative problem-solving while giving young artists the freedom to explore their ideas through colour, composition and storytelling.

Suitable for all skill levels.
All materials supplied.
No previous art experience required.

Who is this for?
Children aged 5-12

What to bring:
Comfortable clothes for messy crafts and a willingness to have fun.

Spaces are limited - bookings essential.

Participants will have the opportunity to exhibit the artwork they create during the My Story My World workshop series in the Youth Exhibition in September 2026.
